LED Lash Extensions

LED lashes use a unique application technique compared to traditional eyelash extensions, primarily differing in the type of adhesive and curing method. Often called UV eyelash extensions, they actually utilize LED light, which is different from UV.

We are one of the only salons in Sudbury offering this innovative service. Each lash is cured individually with a specialized LED lamp, requiring high skill and precision. When applied by a trained professional, LED lashes typically offer better retention than traditional extensions. This method is safe, well-tested, and we absolutely love it!

Benefits of LED Lashes

The curing process creates a strong, oil-resistant bond, making it ideal for those who struggle with lash retention, have oily skin or hair, or possess thick or straight lashes that typically have trouble holding extensions. The adhesive cures instantly, eliminating the need to keep them dry for 24 hours, which is a significant advantage for swimmers and gym-goers.

For those who are short on time and prefer fewer salon visits, many clients report an extra week between infills with this technology.

If you have sensitive eyes and find traditional lash extensions irritating, LED lashes often eliminate discomfort from adhesive fumes, resulting in no redness post-treatment. However, sensitivity can still occur, so please inform us of any discomfort so we can make necessary adjustments.

While allergies to traditional lash extension adhesives are not completely eliminated with LED, the risk is reduced.

Aftercare for LED Lashes

Be Gentle When Cleaning
-Use a lash-safe cleanser to gently clean your lashes daily. Failure to do so can result in dry, itchy lashes.

No Rubbing or Pulling
-Avoid rubbing, pulling, or tugging on your lashes. Instead, use a soft brush (spoolie) to gently wipe away dirt and oils. Be gentle when washing your face or removing makeup.

Be Careful with Makeup
-Use water-based, lash-safe makeup products. Remove makeup gently with a soft, oil-free makeup remover.

Avoid Using Mascara or Curlers
-Do not apply mascara on your extensions, especially oil-based formulas.
-Avoid using eyelash curlers, as they can damage the extensions or your natural lashes.

-Try to sleep on your back to prevent crushing or tangling your lashes.
-Consider using a silk or satin pillowcase to reduce friction.

Regularly Brush Your Lashes
-Use a clean spoolie brush to gently comb through your lashes daily.
-This helps keep them looking neat and prevents tangling.

To maintain full, beautiful lashes, schedule infill appointments every 2-3 weeks.

Irritation , redness, or discomfort, contact your lash technician or a healthcare professional immediately.
Do not attempt to remove your extensions yourself; have them professionally removed if needed.

Following these aftercare tips will help your LED lash extensions last longer and stay comfortable. Enjoy your gorgeous lashes!

Is It Safe?

We utilize the Aura Monaco Beamlight system, which has undergone extensive testing over two years with external laboratories, ensuring it is 100% safe for the eyes and skin. This German system meets some of the highest safety standards globally and complies with all relevant international regulations. The LED technology is well-established, having been used in dental and nail industries for years, and is now adapted for eyelash extensions.

At Revive & Glow Wellness we took our time to adopt this technology to ensure it was safe, reputable, and effective. We are confident in its benefits, but if you want more details about safety certifications, feel free to ask us.
